Women in the Trades Foundations: Building a Strong Resume

About the Workshop

This session will walk attendees through how hiring managers read resumes and how to build a clear, effective resume that highlights skills, experience, and value. We will cover what recruiters actually look for, how to structure a resume so it is easy to scan, and how to translate hands-on experience into resume language that makes sense to employers. Attendees will learn common resume mistakes to avoid and simple ways to tailor a resume for different roles. The goal is to leave with practical tools that make resumes clearer, more confident, and more competitive.
