Advisory Board
Advisory Board members are presented with opportunities to impact worker training, career development, curriculum development, state-wide initiatives and projects. As an Advisory Board member you will be joining a broad network of industry, education and community leaders. This group is instrumental in making recommendations to the Construction Center of Excellence (CCE) on strategic planning and goal assessment to ensure the CCE has a positive impact statewide. The Advisory Board meets once a quarter, usually for two hours.
The responsibilities of advisory board members are:
- Attend CCE Advisory Board meetings;
- Provide advisory for Center projects and programs (suggest subject matter experts, provide connections, market center activities, etc)
- Support Center activities such as the annual summit, faculty externship and other relevant events;
- Provide expertise for college programs, curriculum
- and skill standards;
- Support student mentoring and opportunities
- Submit letters of support for grant applications;
- Network and have fun!!
